Our Story
St. John's Nutrition was founded in 1993 by Matt St. John after a chance meeting with Tommie Bass, the Herb Doctor of Leesburg Alabama. This meeting led to a life of research, study, and use of natural medicine. St. John's has focused on the advanced study of natural medicine, formulation of wellness formulas, and the teaching and education to others about the benefits of natural medicine. Several herbalists, Natropathic Doctors, Medical Doctors, and wellness professionals are on staff or are resources for St. John's Nutrition.
St. John's has facilitated the opening of multiple health food stores, wellness centers, and herb shops across the country, and for over 25 years has served the public with the finest natural formulations available. (Pics of past stores and locations) From new, cutting edge products such as CBD, to the use of timeless ingredients such as Lobelia and Xanthorhiza simplicissima that few companies use today or have knowledge of, St. John's has a combined 130 plus years in the wellness fielding just with our executive team.
Each of St. John's in house formulations are painstakingly manufactured using only the finest organic and wild harvested ingredients, impeccable manufacturing processes, and finest raw materials all purchased from sources certified in the United States.
During the Pandemic of 2020, St. John's Nutrition stayed open every day, NEVER ran out of a product, and never once was backordered in providing our essential services and products to our customers. Our customers have depended on St. John's for their health and their immunity, and our products have served these customers since long before 03/02/2020. We are the only natural products company in the United States who did not fail to ship products ordered by their customers.
Also unique to St. John's Nutrition is our commitment to focusing on research, product quality, and formulation rather than for profit. When we saw the immediate need of the 2020 Pandemic, we applied and were approved for non profit status, and are the only non profit herbal natural products company in the United States. Our focus and PROFITS are used to give back to our community, to our customers, and to helping future generations learn how to be healthy using natural and safe botanicals and products.
